A career-high 26.1 points against the Cardinals made it two straight games of 14-plus, and Corum has led the Rams in rushing in each of the last two weeks. The detail the experts keep returning to is usage: he had more red-zone carries than Kyren Williams on Sunday (3 to 2), and the backfield now alternates drives in something close to an even split, with the Rams in no hurry to lean on Williams before the playoffs. That makes his 7-to-12 touches a week look safe. An essential handcuff for anyone with Williams and a flex in deeper leagues; the Lions and Seahawks are tough draws, but Week 17 against the Falcons is the reward for getting there.

When De'Von Achane left the Jets game with a rib injury, Wright took the Miami backfield outright: 24 carries for 107 yards and a touchdown, double Ollie Gordon's snaps and a 24-to-5 edge in carries. Mike McDaniel says Achane avoided a fracture and could play, but "could" is not a lineup, and the experts agree Wright is the clear RB1 if Achane sits and the handcuff to own either way. Several say to spend what it takes -- if Achane is ruled out for even a week, unspent budget does not carry into next season. Pittsburgh is a hard matchup, but 20-plus carries is fantasy relevance regardless.

The rookie is the priority receiver add because of who is missing: Rome Odunze is dealing with a stress fracture in his foot and could be out for a while, which pushes Burden up the Bears' target order. The experts describe a solid floor for as long as Odunze is out, with the big-play ability he has flashed all season on top of it. Not a league-winner by any account, but the kind of receiver a playoff roster can start with confidence, and the wide receiver most of the week's articles led with.

Back on track with 163 yards and three touchdowns on 16 of 23 passing, plus 19 rushing yards, and the schedule is the whole pitch. The Vikings face the Cowboys, Giants and Lions over Weeks 15 to 17 -- the three teams allowing the most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, with Dallas the most favorable matchup a quarterback could have this year. With Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, T.J. Hockenson and Aaron Jones around him, the experts call McCarthy the best the wire has to offer for anyone scrambling after Daniel Jones' season-ending injury: a break-glass starter with a real ceiling.
