How to Use

Each week I collect suggested FAAB waiver wire bids from fantasy football experts. The Expert Count column is how many experts (out of 12 total) chimed in. All bids are a based on a starting budget of $100. I then average the bids for each player. The trimmed mean is the average, but without the highest and lowest values.

Under Who the Experts Like, Why the Experts Like Them is the rest of what the experts said: a paragraph on each of the week's most mentioned players, compiled from all of their articles, so you can see the case for a bid without reading nine write-ups yourself. Like the position tables, it needs a season pass on the week we are currently publishing and is free on every week before it.

Your Leagues

A bid is only worth making on a player you can actually get. Connect your leagues and every player on the site is marked against your own rosters: Available if nobody in your league has him, Taken if somebody does, Yours if that somebody is you, and Open in 2 of 3 when you play in more than one league and it varies. Click any mark to see each league and who holds him. Above the tables, one box hides everybody who is taken, in one league, any league or all of them, so the table becomes your waiver wire with the experts' numbers beside every name.

Connecting takes a minute on your account page, with a season pass. For Sleeper, type your username and every league you are in comes across. For ESPN, paste two cookies from a browser signed in to ESPN, with the steps spelled out on the page, and every league on the account comes across. Your rosters are read again every few hours as you use the site, and whenever you press Read Now.

Nothing is ever changed on your league. The site only reads who is on each roster, shows it only to you, and forgets it the moment you disconnect the league.

At the bottom of each table, I linked all the articles in the footer row so you can get all the details about why bids are what they are.

You can click any column header to sort it low-to-high (ascending). Click the same header again to sort it high-to-low (descending).

Keep in mind that these are just suggested bids. It's what the experts are suggesting to spend up to, but also maintain enough money for the rest of the season. If you really, really want a player then by all means break the bank if you need to.
